Love reunited...Marina Abramovic and Ulay

I LOVE this.

Marina Abramovic is a performance artist who had a show, The Artist is Present, at the MOMA in 2010.   During the performance, she sat in a chair, and one by one, people would sit opposite of her.  For one minute, she would stare into their eyes.  The experience must have been very emotional, but no moment more so than when she was reunited with her long lost love- Ulay.  He arrived to the show, without her knowledge, and this video is of the moment she sees him again.

Marina and Ulay were prominent performance artists in the 1970's.  For 10 years, they had a passionate romance- they traveled the country together, living in a van, creating art along the way.  When they felt their love was reaching it's end, they went to the Great Wall of China and walked from opposite ends, meeting in the middle to hug each other one last time, thinking they would never see each other again.  A fitting end to a passionate relationship between two equally passionate artists : )

I have watched this video over and over again...and I have cried every single time. Such a sap : )
